At the PGA Show in January, we were very lucky to connect with Bermuda Sands. As soon as we were able to sit down and learn more about what makes Bermuda Sands tick, we were hooked. Similar to last week, we plan on brining you an outfit in addition to a little review.
Recently, Bermuda Sands sent us a couple polos and quarter zips to try. For those who have never heard of Bermuda Sands, let us give you a little back ground first. Established in 2009, Bermuda Sands is a family owned business that is available in over 1,000 green grass shops, resorts, and specialty stores. If you are any thing like us your interaction with Bermuda Sands was limited to finding a shirt in a pro shop or having a buddy snag you a polo at an exclusive club. Bermuda Sands has a way of blending top of the line performance material and great looking style all in one shirt. No doubt about it, every piece has a way of making you feel like you should be sipping a pina colada in the tropics.
The polos are some of the softest polos we have tried. They performed well in the heat and never really showed sweat. We were lucky enough to try the Sanderson polo. The Sanderson clocks in at $75 bucks and is a steal at that price. A major plus for the shirt is the feel of the fabric. Like I said, it was one of the softest polos I have tried in a long time. A welcome addition to my closet full of performance polos.
Now to the Quarter Zips. So this is really cool – certain pieces in the Bermuda Sands line actually incorporate plastic bottles in the fabric. Talk about recycling and doing something to help the environment. Now I know what you are thinking…plastic bottle? No way that is comfortable. Well let me break it to you, it is. We tried out the Perfection Quarter Zip, and unlike the Sanderson polo, this piece had a more technical performance feel.
For those looking for more of a softer feel I would suggest something like the Solaris.
Look, I was very impressed with Bermuda Sands. The pieces were unique and different from what you see on the market now. Additionally, they have pieces for everyone’s price point. With regularly priced items ranging from $45 to $75 ish, you can look stylish without breaking the bank.

Bermuda Sands provided us some clothes free of charge to try and do an honest review. All of the reviews we share on Golf Starz are our own opinions. Golf Starz has been given the clothes as part of a product review. Although the products were a gift, all opinions in this review remain our own and were in no way influenced by the company
