Well we’re coming of an awesome week at Arnie’s place and heading straight to Austin, Texas for the WGC Dell Match play (a day early nonetheless). We’ve seen some awesome golf the last few weeks and it doesn’t stop as 59 of the top 64 players in the world golf rankings will be teeing it up. The third WGC event of the season will be played at one of the more unique courses on TOUR, Austin Country Club. It’s only right that we get some bracket style golf in the middle of March (well technically round robin/match play) and it’s only right that we have guys like DJ, Spieth, Rory and Sergio headlining. To see all the groupings click here.

Although it is short, Austin Country Club offers a lot of trouble just off the fairways. Accuracy and knowing when to be aggressive when firing at the greens is going to be key this week. Below are the final round highlights from last years as we saw DJ take home another World Golf Championship:

As we know, WGC events are very meaningful. All four WGC events offer comparable prize money to the major championships. The winner of a WGC event earns a 3 year PGA Tour exemption and can vault them up the world rankings. You best believe the bright young guns of this season and some of the seasoned stars will be jockeying for a good finish as they sharpen up their games heading into Master’s week. (15 days and counting Master’s)

With all of that being said check out our picks below for the WGC Dell Match Play. This week with the format being what it is we are going bold and picking one winner. Comment below with your picks and follow us on Twitter for some more hot takes this weekend.
