Here at Golf Starz, we’ve done a fair amount of reviews on apparel. There is only so many original things we can say about a polo without having to rip all the specs off the companies website, just to have something to talk about. So, it either better blow us away in the swagger department or have some other intangible quality that makes it really shine (no pun intended). The folks over at Hawaiian Sunday Crew have one of the coolest products/ideas that we’ve ever been able to work with. But before you see how great their polo’s are, I want to highlight the important part – their mission.

We feel really lucky to have been able to develop great relationships with companies like Arnold Palmer Apparel. As we mentioned in that review, Arnold Palmer Apparel has a unique association with Arnie’s Army Charitable Foundation which does a lot of financial good for a lot of people – and we will always continue to be a supporter of theirs. Similarly, the folks at Sunday Crew have made it their goal to raise awareness and help promote early detection of Melanoma. In fact, they work closely with the following Foundations and Awareness Groups:

And for a small company like Sunday Crew to donate a portion of it’s proceeds from their apparel and golf tournaments to skin cancer research and sunscreen manufactures to better promote sun awareness, really makes it easy to be a supporter and collab with them.

Look, we all know that golf can be expensive and so can the apparel, accessories, equipment etc. But knowing that my money is going to a company who focuses it’s efforts (and profits) to something that has touched my family in a negative way makes it a lot easier. And as golfers, honestly we should be paying better attention to our time in the sun.

Now onto the product… Sunday Crew makes UPF 50+ polos that keep you cool and fashionable. Their performance polos are truly the first line of defense against harmful rays… only, with a bit of flare! Like I mentioned, Sunday Crew is a newer/smaller company so they only carry a limited amount of styles and size combinations. But as you can see on their website they have done a brilliant job on design.

All of that for under $75.00 is tough find these days too. They sent us the Catamaran style to test out and all I can say is it fits great everywhere and looks awesome. Beyond their polos they carry some sweet looking short and long sleeve shirts, hats, beanies and yoga pants. Oh, and if you are planning your next golf tournament, keep them in mind as they can do custom logo’s on any of their polos.

We’re really looking forward to seeing where the Sunday Crew is headed. Whether it’s more designs or expanding even further into the golf industry – we will be watching with anticipation. Be sure to give them a follow on Instagram and Facebook and tell them Golf Starz sent you!

Hawaiian Sunday Crew sent us the Catamaran style shirt free of charge to try and do an honest review. All of the reviews we share on Golf Starz are our own opinions.  Golf Starz have been given the polo as part of a product review. Although the product was a gift, all opinions in this review remain our own and were in no way influenced by the company.
