With Christmas next week we decided to try a drink that should be a fan favorite at any gathering. Seasonal, easy to drink, and even easier to make. No matter if you are sitting by a fire, caroling, or just trying to get through family dinner with your extended family – this drink will take the edge off. There are a couple different ways to make a whiskey cider. You can serve it hot or cold, and if you are looking to get really boozy – swap out the cider for a hard cider. If you plan to go that way, I would suggest serving the drink cold. Lastly, pro tip – if you are at a dry Christmas party, don’t forget your flask to spike your own cider.
The Whiskey Cider
- First, add a couple oz of Whiskey, we went with Four Roses Yellow Label…
- Second, fill the rest of the glass with cider…
- Third, add some lemon juice…
- Last, garnish with a cinnamon stick and apple…
Here at Golf Starz we are all about easy drinks to make. Tip your bartenders/cart girls and never drink and drive.
