2017 BMW CHAMPIONSHIP

Golf Starz recap and look forward on the FedEx Cup this week:

-J. Lee

Here we are – the third of the four legs of the FedEx Cup. With a week off the top 70 points leaders will be battling it out at the BMW Championship in hopes to get inside the top 30 and advance to the Tour Championship, the grand finale. First off let me just say this – JT is on 🔥 🔥 🔥!

Although there were no big moves made within the top 10 we saw guys like Stewart Cink make a big jump from 81st to 57th with his 12th place finish vaulting him into this week. And on the other hand we had some notable cuts that include guys like Bubba Watson and Adam Scott. The official standings can be found here.

On to the BMW Championship… which is returning to Conway Farms Golf Club for the third time this year and where we saw Jim Furyk’s 59 years ago (highlights here). Conway Farms Golf Club is located just outside of Chicago and has been the host to a multitude of collegiate tournaments. You can get a good look at the 15th hole hereand see why this course is fit for some tough golf (full course here).

You can see the whole field here and see the tee sheets here. And if you need to get more hyped check out this video here.

You guys know by now how we do this but to make it fun, we are going to pick who we think is going to win the FedEx Cup as well as pick our favorite and long shot this week (and since there is no real long shot anymore we will pick outside the top 10).
