PUMA GOLF | VOLITION AMERICA

Today’s review comes from our friend Mr. Lafferty Daniels on an awesome collaboration that benefits a great cause – enjoy!

“Here at Golf Starz we are always up for a good celebration – Golf, friends, family, etc.  We are able to do this for the sole reason that there are men and women who have decided to put themselves second and put their county first.  On Memorial Day we remember those individuals who gave the ultimate sacrifice for this country.

‘I have no illusions about what little I can add now to the silent testimony of those who gave their lives willingly for their country… Yet, we must try to honor them—not for their sakes alone, but for our own. And if words cannot repay the debt we owe these men, surely with our actions we must strive to keep faith with them and with the vision that led them to battle and to final sacrifice.’

-Ronald Reagan

Now, before you read any further you have a choice.  You can either read on and go about your day; or you can make a choice, right here right now to commit to something bigger than you are.  You can commit to serving those who have served us; you can decide to give time, money, energy, effort; raise awareness; and most importantly we can help those families who have lost love ones.

If you have made the choice to help, please find a cause and get behind it.  It does not matter which one.  There are many out there that can always use more.  If you are looking for one, I suggest checking out Folds of Honor.  The Folds of Honor Foundation, a 501c-3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing educational scholarships to the families of our American heroes.

I am thrilled when I see companies partner with organizations like this to donate a portion of their proceeds and help their cause.  There is nothing simpler than buying a great shirt and some of that money going to a great cause.  Recently, PUMA Golf sent us some pieces from their Volition American Golf Collection to try out. As a testament to those who have served and sacrificed for our freedom, PUMA Golf, in conjunction with Volition America, released this awesome new collection.  A portion of the proceeds from the Volition American Golf Collection will support the families of our military heroes through the Folds of Honor Foundation.

First off, the name really stood out…Volition…wow.  Volition means the power to choose.  We wake up every morning and have a choice to serve or be served.  As a nation, we should try to serve more than we are served.  And what better way than serving those who served us?

Secondly, the clothes are amazing.  They don’t look like something you see every day, especially in golf apparel.  The logos are subtle and the clothes speak for themselves.  Everything has the red, white, and blue color scheme with some camo mixed in.  I lost count of the times I was stopped yesterday on the course asking where they could buy something, who makes it, or just telling me I looked sharp.

Here is my look:

VOLITION CAP (Black)
Volition Camo 1/4 Zip
Volition Asym Road Map Polo
IGNITE DISC Extreme Golf Shoes

So, it’s simple – be a part of a noble cause and look good doing it.

-L. Daniels”

Mr. Lafferty Daniels is a weekend warrior when it comes to golf.  Mr. Daniels shoots in the mid to low 90’s most of the time.  Has been know to have a couple snowmen on the score card but with the right amount of luck and sometimes with a little help from the trusty foot wedge can find his way into a birdie.

PUMA provided all of the clothes featured here free of charge.   All of the reviews we share on Golf Starz are our own opinions and are products we would undoubtedly recommend, use or purchase on our own.
